Decorative Hardwoods Association (DHA) is trade association that helps to connect consumers to high quality wood products. It’s members produce 90 percent of the hardwood plywood stock panels and hardwood veneer manufactured in North America. DHA has been a client of Brick Factory’s for many years. In 2017, when they decided to rename the association, they trusted Brick Factory to bring their brand to life with a new website.
DHA wanted a visual site that would highlight the craftsmanship of their members’ products but still provide their members with the resources they expect from an association. We decided to build the website in Drupal because it allows for flexible design and robust functionality.
The DHA website features a bookstore where users can purchase hard copy or PDF versions of their major publications. User experience was the focus of the redesign; DHA can prominently feature popular publications and visitors can find additional products through category filters and keyword searches.
We created website accounts for DHA members. When logged in, members automatically receive bookstore discounts and have access to members-only resources.
The new DHA product pages are much more visual and highlight the beauty of natural wood. Each product page has a space to highlight members and a gallery of their products.
