ABOUT BRICK FACTORY
We do exceptional work for great clients, and built the kind of company we always wanted to work for.
We’re a Washington, DC digital agency. Since 2011 we’ve worked with nonprofits, associations, universities, businesses, and ecommerce organizations on websites and digital platforms that raise money, grow audiences, drive sales, and move the numbers our clients care about. whether you’re launching a new site, improving conversions, or getting more out of a platform you already have, the goal is the same practical work that produces results you can measure.

WHAT WE DO
Built for outcomes, not platforms
We plan, design, build, market, and maintain websites and custom applications, and we handle the work around them: analytics, search optimization, accessibility, and ongoing support. Most of our work runs on WordPress or Drupal, but the platform matters less than how we use it.
We build sites that are simple for your team to manage, designed to convert, and ready for how people find you now, through traditional search and increasingly through AI. More about how we work.
WHERE THE NAME COMES FROM
We don’t actually make bricks
But we do believe in solid construction and digital programs built to last. At founder Todd’s previous job, one team turned designs into working web pages. The work took focus and care but wasn’t glamorous, and the team got nicknamed the Brick Factory. Todd named the company as a nod to those coworkers.
HOW WE WORK
We focus on outcomes.
A website is rarely the actual goal. our clients care about raising more donations, generating leads, growing memberships, and driving sales. We build the site to serve those numbers, and we measure our work the way you do.
We’ve probably seen your problem before.
We’ve worked on hundreds of websites since 2011. If you come to us with a challenge, chances are we’ve handled a version of it, which means we can advise, not just execute.
The team that builds your site sticks around.
About half our team has been here since the company started. The people who plan and build your site are likely to still be here years later when you need a change, a fix, or the next phase.
We tell you the truth about deadlines, budgets, and problems.
No project goes exactly as planned. When something slips or a cost changes, you’ll hear it from us early and directly. We’d rather have a hard conversation than a surprised client.
